Bring on the bourbon, light up the lanterns!! In honor of “Looking” being picked up for season 2, I’m going to post a little JGroff love here. My boyfriend and I worked on set (the character of Ritchie is actually styled after him-so proud, ha), and there wasn’t a day I was there that Jonathan didn’t have something wonderful to say. Even those days that started at 4am- he’d still tell me I looked beautiful. On the last day of filming, he passed these around to select members of cast and crew, and I will cherish mine forever! I’ve never worked with anyone as thoroughly kind and thoughtful in my entire life :) Tl;dr- catch Jonathan in “Looking” cause it’s a heartwarming and pivotal show and he’s a fantastic actor!
One more! One more! We are you! You are us! See it!!! Accept it!
"I am tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission. I suffered for years because I was scared to be out. My spirit suffered, my mental health suffered and my relationships suffered. And I’m standing here today, with all of you, on the other side of all that pain. I am young, yes, but what I have learned is that love, the beauty of it, the joy of it and yes, even the pain of it, is the most incredible gift to give and to receive as a human being. And we deserve to experience love fully, equally, without shame and without compromise." - Ellen Page
One day, if you ever get a chance to meet this special person you will know why I am madly in love with him. He has an open intensity about him you cannot ignore. His rationale will intrigue you, and his benevolent smile will heal you- not to mention those blue eyes. To everyone who hasn’t crossed paths with their soul-mate, I assure you its worth the wait. Happy Valentines Day
